ปลาจิ้งจอกมีขนาดความยาวประมาณ 10-15 เซนติเมตร มาจากประเทศไทย เหมาะสำหรับทำความสะอาดตะไคร่น้ำในตู้ปลา ความเห็นส่วนตัวผมว่าถ้าเป็นตู้ปลาขนาดเล็กไม่ควรนำมาเลี้ยงเพราะขนาดของปลาเมือโตเต็มที่จะดูเทอะทะ ไม่เหมาะแต่ถ้าตู้ขนาด 300 ลิตรขึ้นไปถึงจะดีสำหรัปลาจิ้งจอก ส่วนเรื่องอาหารก็กินอาหารแห้งได้
